Scope of Services
GeoDrafts provides land surveying CAD drafting and GIS production services based on client-supplied data, records, and written instructions. GeoDrafts is not a licensed surveying firm; it does not perform field surveys, determine legal boundaries, provide professional certification, or verify legal compliance. All professional review and sign-off remain with the client's licensed surveyor or engineer.
Project Agreements
Each engagement is defined by a written confirmation of scope covering deliverables, inputs, assumptions, file formats, revision expectations, and delivery schedule. Work is produced according to that agreement.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of supplied data and instructions, for professional review of deliverables before use, and for ensuring that any regulatory or certification requirements are handled by appropriately licensed professionals.
Intellectual Property
Upon agreed payment, clients receive the rights to use the deliverables produced for their project. GeoDrafts retains the right to use anonymized, non-identifying production knowledge and internal tooling. Client-supplied data remains the property of the client.
Confidentiality
Client files and project information are handled under agreed confidentiality arrangements and are not published or shared outside the working relationship.
Limitations
Deliverables are prepared from supplied information as instructed. GeoDrafts is not liable for decisions made from deliverables without professional review, or for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate source data supplied for a project.
